FLSR ROCKS!!

I really don't know why, but I can't ever seem to remember what happens on Monday or Tuesday. All I remember this week was that my critical analysis paper was due Tuesday and Mom called early in the morning to help me revise one last time. Luckily there were only a few small revisions necessary.
Wednesday was temple morning as usual (yay!!), one of my favorite mornings of the week. It's such a boost that helps me get through the whole rest of the week. To make everything even better I went out to lunch with Keith, a guy in my dance class. Turns out he served a mission in Taiwan, just like my Dad. It was really fun to get to know him, and it's even nicer that I actually have a class with him where we can talk (social dance is very social in that way). That evening I went with Professor Kelling to look at the foreign language dorms. We ate dinner there and I was asked to introduce myself. There are 6 girls and 6 guys (I think) that live there right now, and they all seemed to be so nice. I had so much fun just talking in German for a while... after dinner they showed me the apartment, which is spacious, well lit, and just feels right for some reason. In other words, I'm pretty much converted (I was going to room with my friends from this year, but now I'm pretty sure I'm going to live in the FLSR) and I can't wait to move in next year!!! Of course, I have to be accepted first, but I think I have a pretty good chance since Professor Kelling wants me to get in and he's the one in charge of the foreign language appartments.
Thursday was the longest day, as usual. I finished reading "Die Leiden des Jungen Werthers" or "The Sorrows of Young Werther", which was tricky even for me to understand. It's rather depressing, and my Professor said we shouldn't read it if we're at all "psychologically imbalanced" because it has some very persuasive arguments for suicide in it. Of course, the whole point of the book is to prevent people from committing suicide, but when it came out it there was a huge suicide wave throughout Europe. Book of Mormon seemed to last FOREVER!!!!! After ward devotional I was completely exhausted.
Friday after a long day of studying and classes Erin, Cami, Merrit and I went to a dance for the Helaman halls, Heritage, and Wyview stakes. It was pretty fun... I was just so tired. Afterwards we watched The Four Feathers and I fell into bed.
Early Saturday morning Cami, Merrit and I went to a chemistry review for our test that I'm a little nervous about, and that I'm going to take this coming Tuesday. It was a little frustrating since it wasn't as helpful as I had hoped it would be, but I did learn a few things. After listening to a chemistry TA for 2 hours we went to see President Hinckley's funeral, broadcast in the WSC. It was really good, but longer than I had expected and I was having a hard time concentrating. I felt that if they had to cut the whole thing down drastically, they could have just shown the movie that they showed at the end with the tabernacle choir singing in the background. That summed up everything everyone had said before that. What an amazing, fitting tribute!
Anyway, that's all that's going on right now...
Hope you are doing well!!
Love,
Margaret
